Reserved a queen bed and was given a double bed with some kind of fold-out couch which took up much of the available space in the small room.
Read MoreNice refurbished rooms...great decor and quiet location....Resturant wasnt open...but did have nice comp continental breakfast.. Grounds in back are rustic woods...no elevators..some room entrances are at ground entrance. Didnt hear or see any ghosts as history states but very nice place and amenities were great....Amazing beds and towels!

Read MoreHistorical location, main building houses restaurant and rooms along with a second building that has rooms only. Comfortable beds, central a/c so pretty quiet. Most rooms have a porch. Furniture good and rooms are clean. About 3 miles outside of town. Restaurant is very good.
Read MoreWe had a great experience. Loved the rooms, the staff, the restaurant and the location. You could sit outside on the porch and relax in the morning or evening. Nice view. We will definitely be back the next time we go to Yosemite.
Read MoreWill most likely not recommend. When we showed up to check in our room was not ready. We came back after an hour and it still wasn't ready so we waited another hour. Then we were offered another room which supposed to be ready but wasn't either so we waited another half an hour. It was almost 5pm when we've got the room so we missed an appointment that we had. Once we got the room, the pull out couch was very dirty and sheets not changed and some pills all over it. At the front desk I was told that there's no one from cleaning service so we had to change the sheets by ourself. The floor under the pull out couch was nasty, looked like never clean. The bathroom looked cleaned but the shower was dirty with bunch of hair on the floor. On top of everything the heater didnt work and it got cold at night so I had another trip to the front desk. Luckily the lady was able to fix the heater. The manager of the hotel wasn't there till Tuesday and we were leaving on Sunday. I called him on Tuesday and explained the situation asking for a klittle refund or some kind of recompensation, he said he'll check with the front desk and get back to me but he never did.
Read MoreI really like this place, it's very restful. The grounds and surrounding areas are kept up. Close to the park, get up early, grab a cup of joe and head to the Yosemite for the day, about 35 minutes to the park gate, if you go early, no lines, no ranger at the toll booth sometimes
Read MoreWe loved our stay at Sierra Sky Ranch. Everything was perfect...dinner delicious, room very clean, up to date furniture, etc. **** Hotel and in keeping with the area.
Read MoreRoom and overrall building configuration very odd. Very inconvenient to move from one building to another. Could not use WiFi.
Read MoreVery nicely refurbished/decorated hotel, feels homely! The staff who checked us in seems a bit unwelcoming and mistakenly activated our card for two nights (which we were staying there for three nights), perhaps the staff could be a bit more professional and welcoming instead. We ordered food from the restaurant during our stay, the garlic potato mash was amazing! The food was quite good in general! Breakfast was good too, got everything you'll need!
Read MoreBeautiful property!
Read MoreRather disappointing having dinner there. Flat iron steak was ordered medium rare, arrived well done. Rice piloff left me unimpressed, & steak fries, just so so. Part of a large group, only one waiter, but he worked hard to accommodate us all. I won't be going back.
Read MoreDelightfully nestled in the hills just outside Yosemite Nat'l Park. Homey style in western cabin-like decor made us feel totally relaxed. Clean rooms, free bottled water each day, friendly, helpful staff, and the steakhouse on site made our stay here the best in a week long travel experience. Limited number of rooms and away from city life, were bonuses and we would stay again any time we are in that area.
Read MoreWhile meticulously maintained and freshly painted, you may not find the most basic necessities in your room, like any kind of chair, a desk (let alone a chair for it), a coffee maker, or in the older section, even a closet. Nor will you find a refrigerator or microwave which we have come to expect in places at half the price. We understand this location is prime near Yosemite, but you sill need basic room amenities. The place has a restaurant attached (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and in winter but with a full kitchen could and should offer a hot breafkast but instead only offers continental cold items which we admit we expect in cheap hotels (with no kitchen) at less than a third the cost here. But with a full kitchen and the high price (for the location) there is no excuse for not offering a fabulous hot breakfast..
Read MoreThe hotel, restaurant and especially the staff were excellent.
Read MoreGreat place to stay. Excellent service.
Read MoreWarm inviting rooms, nice breakfast, comfortable and quiet
Read MoreThe hotel itself was clean, but the outside, especially the pool could have been vacuumed and the deck had leaves that should have been blown off. Behind the pool was a maintenance building that had junk setting outside that was very unattractive.
Read MoreAmazing hotel on a superb location very close to the Yosemite park. Large room, very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food there was also very pleasant. We really enjoyed staying there!
