I have been driving past this place my whole life (36 years). Yesterday I booked a room for one night. I love it!! I loved its history and stories associated with this property dating back to 1875. My son played some notes on the piano. The employees were compassionate and polite. Candy was a godsend. She helped me cope with the death of my father based on her personal experiences and thoughts on deceased loved ones. I am so happy that this place felt like home. Candy kept the old tradition of keeping us company and being there for us when we needed her. Sergio the manager was also very informative about the place. Most of our deep interaction was with Candy. It was so meant to be and perfect timing to meet Candy and stay at the Sierra Sky Ranch. The room was completely brand new. Brand new mattress and bedding. Room #35. We loved the quality of the furnishings and the shower, was so awesome. We will return every spring. Thank you SSR. You are my new spot to hang. Next time I'll bring the marshmallows!

Een heerlijk hotel waar je bijna hoopt op slecht weer zodat je met warme chocolademelk bij de grote open haard kan zitten. Super vriendelijk personeel die je met alles willen helpen. Een nette, ietwat kleine kamer met een goede badkamer. Mooie omgeving en dichtbij het stadje Oakhurst en niet te ver van Yosemite.

Super hotel very spacious and only 12 miles from the Southern Entrance to Yosemite. Would i go there again - yes tomorrow

Unique & historical. Great views & GREAT STAFF. Very nice property and great change of venue over Comfort & Choice properties . Try it!

Peaceful small but comfortable rooms with extremely comfortable beds, everything new and remodeled. Nice sun room and communal space. Not great breakfast, hard boiled eggs, muffins and have to get there early for the cantaloupe. Wifi can be a bit confusing, a lot of networks throughout the property, all same pw but it's hard to tell which give the best signal where. Free snowshoeing at YSSA/badger pass at 10:30am every morning. Entrance to Yosemite is 40 min drive, view or Badger Pass are each 30 min from there.

This is the sweetest hotel I have ever stayed at! I love the location and the staff. The building is so cute and everyone is so nice and helpful. Also, the breakfast is delicious! This was my second stay at this location and I was just as satisfied as the first. I look forward to coming back here for many many years to come! :)

Loved everything about this place! The setting, the room, the people who work there! I have already booked my next stay and going to share how wonderful it really is with a friend who has never been to Yosemite!

This place was an amazing retreat after a long day of hiking at Yosemite. It's a bit of a drive over the mountain, but SO worth it. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and well appointed. There is 24-hour coffee, tea, and water (even cocoa in the chilly months), fireplaces to sit near, porches to relax on, and light breakfast in the morning (since their restaurant was closed). We wish we'd stayed more nights there.

With friendly and helpful staff it made our stay so comfortable. The hotel was clean, beautiful and had so much charming history. It felt as if we were family and they welcomed us with open arms. I have never stayed in a more beautiful place. Their prices were excellent and I can't wait to return here again.

Excellent, staff the best I've ever encountered, especially Jeff he went out of his way beyond the call of duty, to make our trip and stay very enjoyable, also Kat front desk was excellent host.

This is the perfect place to stay while visiting Yosemite. The hotel was warm, the staff friendly and the location perfect!

Love Sierra Sky Ranch, as what what once the oldest working ranch in Oakhurst, we like the way it has been restored.

The Sierra Sky Ranch was very beautiful and elegant. The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable in every room opens up to a covered porch.

We only got to spend one night at this place while visiting Yosemite, but it was a nice experience. The lobby is beautiful, and just has that old cabin feel. The room was nicely updated with a door leading out to the front porch. I honestly wasn't expecting much for breakfast, so it was nice to see boiled eggs in addition to the regular cereal/fruit/oatmeal/pastries. The chocolate muffins were delicious! Everyone I encountered was very pleasant and helpful. This hotel is very close to one of the entrances to the park...unfortunately, that entrance was closed during our visit. Something to take note of before making arrangements!

Hotel property itself is beautiful nestled in a very private estate. Overall it was ok; Breakfast needs to be upgraded and not a lot to offer besides muffins.
