Nice place

We like this hotel as final stay in our road trip from Grand Canyon to Yosemite; quiet, nice facilities, excellent service. But lacks restaurant for breakfast in particular and walls between room could bet better noise isolated.

I kinda did already, the price was good, the room was small but nice, the employees were friendly. I would go back.

This gem is in the Sierra on the road to the south gate to Yosemite. It's been there for many years, originally a ranch house. Lovely setting, nice pool, a veranda with chairs, a cozy library and a mountain/western vibe. Lots of stone and wood and comfortable sofas and chairs in the public rooms. The restaurant wasn't open when we were there, which was a disappointment.

Hotel molto accogliente. Personale non numeroso ma efficiente. Aria di locale " vecchio West" ma con tutti i confort moderni. Aria condizionata efficiente (Anche troppo) . Stanze giuste pulite e ben arredate. Piscina e Prato ( curato ma carente di annaffiatura per la scarsità d' acqua in California). Consigliabile.|

Hotel met needs and expectations. Price was normal for a peak season in Yosemite. Value is there with a continental breakfast included where at other places closer to the park, it is not nearly as nice without breakfast. Only suggestion would be to add a meat to the breakfast, a bacon or sausage is the norm at many similar hotels.

Very nice place, 5mons drive to the town. Beautiful location in a historic building.

The room noise, unbelievable, no sleep for two nights due to the noise levels, so loud I actually recorded the noise &complained the next morning, the receptionist listened & shrugged her shoulders, even after I told her I had no sleep due to the noise, 2nd night same thing & add 6am hearing the gentleman in the room next door urinating & flushing the toilet followed by hearing word for word conversation they were having. Again complained played the recording and was told 'its an old hotel' despite being in the new annex! I overheard the maintenance man say to the receptionist that the noise was from the ice machine he said 'not overly loud' although this was in the day time with the usual sounds of a working hotel and not 2 ,3,4am.... he told me the only way to stop the noise would have been to turn the machine off. This really spoiled our vacation, no apology, no offer of change of room; really disappointing & not what one expects from American levels of service, the worst hotel we stayed in during our time in the US. Great location, spoilt by the noise & really unhelpful staff. Oh I almost forgot, the high speed internet , what a joke I tried to check in on my flight and couldn't connect, went to reception, receptionist just said try the end of the corridor most people seem to get good reception there, no luck, so I ran a speed test (I work in IT) .038mbps down load speed!!

I actually liked this place and the staff were extremely pleasant. The lobby and common areas are very nice, but the rooms and bathrooms in the bunkhouse sectoin are quite basic (like a dorm room at a private high school) and missing some obvious pieces on needed furniture (like a desk to work at, and a bathroom table to put things on).

De ranch is prachtig gelegen aan de voet van de Yosemite. Het hotel is erg sfeervol en knus ingericht. Slaapkamers zijn comfortabel en zeer schoon. Enkel de douche wordt langzaam warm. Het privé terrasje op de vlonder is echt super. In de nacht luisteren naar de geluiden van de natuur en de geur van hout opsnuiven. Ontbijt stelt niet veel voor. Verpakte zoete broodjes, fruit en flesjes water.

Quiet, relaxing and beautiful! Staff was very personable. Rooms nicely decorated and extremely clean. Wish we could of stayed longer.

Great hotel amazing setting but ask to have a room on the second floor to avoid creaky floorboards which keep you awake

Shower was a bit small but the rest of the place was charming. Rooms clean and well maintained. Restaraunt had a trained chef with above standard fare. Table Service was in training but were earnest and professional. Overall excellent stay at the Sierra Sky Ranch!

First didn't know they had a crib, door didn't seal, light and sound entered room very easily.
