Loved this Hotel. It had a rustic feel although very modern amenities. Staff was friendly and offered great recommendation for our sightseeing during the day. It was like staying at a Lodge back in the old days. The restaurants was nice and the food was very good as well as the prices. Doesn’t have a full bar service yet but wine and beer are offered. I think anyone staying here will enjoy themselves as we did.

Sierra Sky Ranch was nicely appointed with a consistent design style and rustic feel throughout the property. The staff was friendly and we really enjoyed the afternoon swim in the pool.

The rooms were updated but the entire place has a retro fell. Charming and welcoming it felt like something out of a Nancy Drew mystery. We really loved it.

Excellent staff welcome you at this charming historic ranch turned hotel. Room was impeccably clean. Only problem was remarkable lack of sound buffering. Headboard shared a wall with the ice and vending machine, and could hear neighbors throughout night: no sleep prior to a long hike and drive home. I do recommend this hotel for people who are heavy sleepers. It has great character and history; better than a boring chain hotel. Just don’t expect a quiet night here.

Toller Service, sehr nette Leute. Tolles Restaurant mit gutem Essen. Wir haben Burger bestellt mit sehr gutem Fleisch und Soße. Keine Fastfoodburger. Alles selber gemacht. Ich habe sogar einen Burger ohne Ban bekommen (low carb). Als Brotersatz bekam ich meinen Burger in einem Salat gewickelt.

Nice place to stay, friendly staff

It was a nice enough place, but not for the price. I booked this room on the choice hotel website and selected a room that had a photo with wood floors, French doors and appeared nicely decorated. Instead we got a dated standard hotel room with carpeted floors. I was very disappointed.

Das Hotel ist toll gelegen in der Natur, die Lage zum Yosemite Southgate ist ebenfalls gut. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Es gibt immer Kleinigkeiten wie Obst und Kaffee. Das Frühstück und Abendessen kann man weiterempfehlen, nur das Personal ist hier etwas chaotisch.

I enjoyed this hotel immensely and had a very restful stay. While my business is just down the road at another lodging property, I would enthusiastically recommend this location to anyone traveling in Oakhurst area. Great staff attitude and wonderful atmosphere. 4Star!

A place to go and relax when you need to diconect from the rest of the world

I surprised when we arrived how clean and quite it was, the area is about being away from the town and easy to get to where you were going.

Beautiful setting, attractive rooms, great friendly staff, wonderful food at restaurant, close to restaurants and park entrance, very secure hotel. Lacks mini-fridge and microwave in rooms - continental breakfast no so great for choices.
