Sierra Sky has a ton of potential. It's so cute and the location is beautiful. The staff is very nice, and it's very clean. However, the included breakfast is just a prepackaged Sara Lee danish, and some apples, oranges, and granola bars. The restaurant was closed, which made it more difficult to eat after a long day. You essentially have to go into Oakhurst, which isn't terribly far, but it would have been nice to relax at the hotel after a long day in Yosemite. The wifi is pretty bad, and definitely ask for a room on the top floor. I was on the bottom floor, and could hear every step of the people above me. I'm indicating that I would recommend this hotel, but I'd only recommend it if you can get a room on the top floor, and don't care about the breakfast, or not having food nearby.

Great hotel with great service, and the history of the hotel was awesome to learn. And location is awesome to visit Yosemite and bass lake

Nice to live, but lack on Convenience! Since it doesn’t provide refrigerator that causes my 2 years old kid out of fresh milk. And they don’t serve hot breakfast as well, no milk as well.

Such a beautiful, quiet place that feels like you’ve stepped back in time and are a guest at an historic ranch! Then you check into your room and find a fully modernized hotel with a comfy bed, new furniture and beautiful bath. There’s great common areas like a reading room too. Nights were super quiet and restful. Breakfast is very light- power bars and fruit, coffees and teas, but it’s nice for grab and go. Staff was very warm and welcoming too. We only planned to stay one night, but we liked it so much, we canceled our other plans and stayed a second.
