Very pleased with the room and the hotel staff everything was clean comfortable and wifi was fast and worked great

Location, location, location! The place was about a 15-minute drive to the south entrance of Yosemite. Because it was off the main road, you didn't hear any traffic passing by at night. Instead, we heard the hoots of owls and howls of coyotes, which is what you want when you are out in nature. The service and staff were extremely nice and helpful, the rooms were clean, and bed was comfortable. The downsides: The "breakfast" needs an upgrade. It consisted of packaged pastries (similar to Hostess, sweet and not healthy), granola bars, fruit, coffee, and teas. 2/3 of the room was taken up by the bed. The walls were a little thin, as you can clearly hear the snoring of neighbor rooms. Overall, the value for the room was great.

Good location, historic hotel, but disappointing breakfast

This is a great hotel because you feel like your in a real first Lodge. It's not fancy and updated but it's real and genuine. I liked the wood interior and the library.

This hotel is about 2 miles outside of town located on a quiet hillside. The room was nicely decorated and appeared to have been refreshed recently.

Nice play yo stay when visitting yosemite, even though it's a little far away (most of them are) there are many places to visit around

The staff at the hotel was very welcoming and helpful, especially Tammy at reception. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very basic as the restaurant was not open as we were out of season. No amenities in the room.

Het hotel straalt charme uit. De rustieke uitstraling, een echte ranch. Wij hadden de King Room, die vonden wij enigszins aan de kleine kant. We hadden ietwat moeite twee grote koffers kwijt te kunnen. De inrichting was super, het gigantische bed was onwijs comfortabel! De badkamer is compleet. Je hebt een leuke zit buiten waar je kan genieten van de natuur. Het ontbijt is erg simpel, maar voor ons persoonlijk meer dan voldoende.||Wat wij jammer vonden was dat het restaurant gesloten was en dat bijvoorbeeld de openhaarden niet aanstonden (waarschijnlijk omdat het een rustig seizoen is in April). Het hotel is ook wat gehorig aangezien er veel is gebouwd met hout. Wij konden horen wanneer de buren gingen douchen. ||Al met al een fijn verblijf!

The Sierra Sky Ranch was one of the cutest hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. It was warm, cozy and beautiful. For some reason, I’m drawn to bathrooms and the bathroom here was very beautiful!!! I loved the decor in the room as well. The staff was very polite and they offered little breakfast snacks in the morning which was great for our trip to Yosemite!

Excellent hotel, cozy, comfortable and great service. Near Yosemite National Park. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Beautiful, relaxing place. We love it here. The staff is wonderful and friendly. Coffee whenever you need a pick me up. All around great place to stay when visiting Yosemite or Oakhurst.

All I can say is if your in the area, this is the place to stay!

We will be back to enjoy this Historic spot for many years to come.

Clean, comfortable and quaint hotel with a Lodge feel to it. Closer to Yosemite than staying in Oakhurst

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would not recommend the family suite as it’s very noisy due to foot traffic above the room. Otherwise we’d stay here again but would choose a different room.

Charming ranch style lodge in woods outside Kings Canyon

The hotel was incredibly nice and renovated yet still charming. We were very surprised and impressed by the rooms. All expectations in service and the hotel quality in general were exceeded. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.
