This hotel was beyond expectation! we arrived at 10pm to a beautiful lodge with a grand piano and library. the woman working offered us snacks and teas, and walked us to our room after showing us the whole place. This was the most hospitable hotel I've stayed in ever. I've never been walked to my hotel room in my life. This was lovely!

Beautiful location near Yosemite National Park. During "the season" the restaurant is open with excellent food and service.

The sierra sky ranch was a beautiful sliver of heaven nestled in the foothills of yosemite, this was the best mini vacation i have ever had and i have already recommended it to several people

Such a beautiful place so laid back and relaxing the rooms were comfortable and cozy with a patio attatched, coffee all day lots of places to sit and relax, rumored to be haunted but the ghosts were polite

Nice Hotel with Vintage look and history. Rooms are nice and cozy but walls are thin. Property is well kept and clean. Managers were great and courteous.

I loved the hotel, the cabin feel to the decor. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Very nice and clean. Looked new in room, and bathroom. Clean. My location and my stay was quiet. The heat worked very well. Beautiful location and not on busy heavy traffic noise area. Did not like lack of refrigerator and lack of microwave. There was an ice machine near though. A big enough (1/2") gap on my hanging door blind creeped me out that anyone on public porch could peer in through glass door to view the top half of the bed, and me in it. Had to cover it. I read about the ghosts but the room I was in, I had no problems at all. I slept like a dream on what almost felt like a feather top dreamy, pillow-like bed.

It was awesome getting to wake up and walk outside the room onto the balcony to see the snowfall. What wasn't awesome was their "breakfast." Still, the staff was nice and helpful offering suggestions of places to see and giving us a flashlight when the electricity went out within minutes of checking in.

The Hotel is closed to South Entrance to Yosemite National Park. Very quite and few miles from town and entrance. Perfect ambiance for family trip.

Did not have a good experience. Review process should be made easier not this long.

Hotel was lovely - definitely recommend staying here on your way to Yosemite. Really great access via road 41 (unless it’s closed because of a government shutdown...). Our only criticism was the breakfast - it was a very underwhelming packaged bun given how excellent the rooms and staff were! Would almost be better off not offering breakfast as it detracted slightly from how good the hotel was!
