Great staff, great property & location. Would highly recommend.

Lovely rooms, nothing fancy but everything you'd need for 2 people. A bit small, but a great updated bathroom. Struggled to sleep with some talk of ghosts on the property/noises in the night, though some might find this a draw. Not a stellar internet connection, but it worked okay. Absolutely wonderful staff, friendly and approachable!

Beautiful old school ranch, like something from a Ralph Lauren advert. Super friendly owner and staff who helped make a big birthday trip special - putting us in a super nice room.

The staff was incredible helpful and friendly, the room was nice and the restaurant had excellent food. It’s close to the Yosemite entry and mariposa grove and around one hour and a half from Yosemite valley

Pros: - close to Yosemite - friendly staff - cute place Cons: - extremely uncomfortable pillows and mattress wasn’t great - had neck and back pain - no cleaning service included - small room

Sierra sky ranch has Amazing views. The rooms are updated and very comfortable. I loved my stay here and have already made plans for another trip with the family.

This hotel is just far enough from town to have a nice resort feel. They were extremely accommodating, welcoming, and informative. My steak dinner at the restaurant was delicious and our server was attentive, funny, and on top of it. I feel badly that I can’t remember names - so I’ll describe the staff who stood out, the woman whose son is the chef, she walked us to our room when we checked in and was a great help when I asked about anything. Our server was a thin older woman, I was impressed by her great attitude. Honestly, every staff member, front desk, chef, server etc had great attitudes. The bathroom toiletries smell amazing and the bed ... omg the bed ... I wanted to strap it to my car and take it home. That was the best night sleep I’ve had in a while. The perfect firmness for my bad hip and shoulders. I didn’t wake up turning and popping all night like I do in my too soft bed at home. I’ve already recommended this hotel to multiple people and would definitely stay again if I’m in the area. My only complaint or suggestion ... it would be nice if there were sheer curtains so when I changed or wanted privacy from the veranda, I didn’t have to block out all of the natural light when I closed the black out curtains.

After reading the reviews we decided to stay here and were pleasantly surprised with how cozy and gorgeous this property is! Nice touch with filtered water and coffee available along with a super friendly and accommodating staff.

We stayed at the hotel while we were on a trip to visit Yosemite. The hotel is about 30 minute drive to the park, which is pretty close as there are not many other hotels within this price range close to the park. It was perfect for what we needed. Rooms are a little small but they have a nice patio outside of each room to sit outside and relax.

I love this place & the people who work here. Always so nice. When I can’t go camping I come here. The best of both worlds!

Hotel has ranch rustic charm. Updated bathrooms and bedrooms are cozy and clean. Verandas for lounging are lovely.

Beautiful location and perfect family room. Had separate room with beds, would be helpful to have tv in living area. Would be great to have a small refrigerator or laundry facility. We enjoyed the front lawn

Loved the hotel and the rustic setting. Family had a great time going on hikes and enjoying the outdoors.

Serenity at it’s best! Located at the gate to Yosemite and near town. Remove your food from your car cause there are bears it’s loaded with history and could not be happier with it’s amazing views.

Our family decided to visit Yosemite and Bass Lake and we found the perfect place to stay! I really enjoyed the location and the coziness of the Ranch. It was rustic but still had the amenities I would need from a big hotel. Most of all we loved the staff and service, the front desk was attentive, friendly and always made us feel at home. Spending our 10th Anniversary there was the perfect choice. My kids really enjoyed the people there the most and didnt want to leave. Hi from Room 42!
