This historic hotel is perfect for those seeking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Very good places to eat in nearby Oakhurst while still being a scenic drive away from Yosemite.

Poor 1 star. Rude staff don't know how to be professional. The hotel itself is outdated, no smart tv with limited options to watch, with poor wif, and no fridge to keep your food or drinks cold.

Sierra Sky Ranch was an unexpected surprise. It has a beautiful location and the rooms are very cozy. We will definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff. Had everything in stock. Covid19 friendly. Slow wifi. No mini fridge or microwave in room had to keep going to main lobby.

Good place. Walls are thin. Drive to Yosemite entrance is 15 minutes. Add another hour of winding driving if you are going into the village.

Overall good hotel, easy access off highway, but highway noise was virtually non-existent. Clean, but also enjoyed the older historical info on the building itself. Reminded me somewhat of the Yellowstone Lodge decor. Unlike some "chain" hotels, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water available 24/7. All staff friendly. Staff also recommended where to eat in Oakhurst, at Pete's Restaurant. Excellent before heading up to Yosemite each day

This place was special. The hostess was so kind and inviting. She showed me to my room at night. Showed me the historic lobby, kept a fire going, had hot cocoa available, rooms recently renovated and beautiful. Loved it!

Historic and comfortable lodge outside of Oakhurst and Yosemite National Park.

The stay was very peaceful and cozy. I would definitely recommend to stay at this ranch if you are taken a trip to Yosemite National Park. The family loved it as well, especially the sky at night with all the stars out.

Friendly staff, the woman who helped us check in was kind and had a sense of humor. The common area is beautiful with two fire places, a chess board game and piano. There is also a shared area for morning packaged snacks, coffee and tea (due to covid there is no continental breakfast). There is a microwave in the breakfast area that you can use 24/7, and a hot/cold water despenser. They do a great job with putting hand sanitizer and tissues in the eating area to prevent contamination. There is also a tv and couch in the breakfast area. Down the hall from the breakfast area there is another shares living room type area with another fire place. Our room it self, was a one bed. The room was a bit more snug that we are used too, but it worked for us. It was cool to have two doors open to the outside from the room. The walls are a bit thin in the rooms, when people woke up you could hear them walking /talking in the hall. Overall we would stay here again. It was about an hour to get to Yosemite, there was no wait to get in the park when we went. And the town has all the amenities.

Comfortable, cozy, but had a room overlooking the vending machines. Lovely study/ sitting room. Good fresh coffee/tea/ cocoa bar. Beautiful location.

We stopped by after a long day going through Yosemite. The staff was super friendly, and made us feel like home. Everything was clean as a whistle. Close to town. Would absolutely stay here again!

Would love to see the restaurant opened. We were very comfortable at this hotel. The manager is terrific. The cleaning staff makes sure everything is spotless before you arrive
