Loved everything about this hotel! Lovely property with history (read the stone on the way in or the paper in the lobby) yet modern updates, super comfy bed, clean bathroom, and a kind front desk. A COVID breakfast sucks at any hotel these days so bring your own cinnamon rolls and heat them up in the microwave. Loved eating on the front porch. Short drive into town for dinner or order something for delivery, but stay here for sure!

Read MoreIf you are looking to stay in Oakhurst, I recommend considering the Sierra Sky Ranch. It is an old hospital that has been updated to be a hotel. While it is a short drive outside Oakhurst, the beautiful setting makes it worth the 5 minute drive. Nearly every room has direct access to a large common porch that overlooks green lawn and oak and pine trees as far as you can see. While it is close enough to HWY 41 to hear traffic, you will feel like you are in a mountain oasis.

Read MoreThe hotel was excellent. My father is wheelchair-bound and the wheelchair-accessible room was perfect for his needs. The front office staff was helpful in answering questions prior to booking and equally as helpful when we arrived.

Read MoreIf it weren't for the mattress and the smell of must, we'd stay there again. It's a lovely spot, quiet, charming with lovely staff, but the must smell was strong and the mattress too uncomfortable for us. After long days at Yosemite, we really wanted to sleep restfully, but we couldn't. Awakened with soreness and fatigue. If they change their mattresses and eliminate the source of must, we'd go back in a heartbeat.
Read MoreThis little ranch is such a perfect place, only a few minutes away from Yosemite and a few minutes away from town. My fiancé and I got engaged in Yosemite so we might be a little biased, but we can't wait to stay here again when we come back!
Read MoreWe stayed at this place while visiting Yosemite and it was about an hour to the central valley. The hotel itself is very cute and the rooms are comfortable and the staff is nice. My one complaint is that the doors on both sides (facing out to the deck as well as to the hallway) are not at all soundproof. We were woken up every morning by our neighbor who insisted on having a loud phone conversation outside on the deck. There was also a good amount of sound from the hallway in the morning. If you’re a light sleeper make sure you bring earplugs
