Location and room updates are great. So close to Yosemite and you feel like you are staying in the mountains with this location. Always have wonderful customer service as well.

Very clean, comfortable rooms. Beautiful, glass double doors leading to a shared front porch. Very rustic and homey feeling. No microwave, fridge or coffee maker in room. There is a microwave and 24h coffee in the lounge. I have to steam my breast pump parts in a special bag in the microwave and the bag was too big for the microwave, so that created a predicament for me (but not many others would likely find themselves with same problem). I did have to wait to get checked in to my room bc housekeeping was behind, which was kind of a bummer, but not too big of deal. My room was very clean, so I was happy with that. The restaurant and bar are only open seasonally. I stayed 5/11-5/13 and they were not open yet, which was a real bummer. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

From the moment we stepped into the Sierra Sky Ranch hotel, we felt as though we were beginning a peaceful retreat. Every amenity was perfect. I would like to give some special recognition to the gentleman who checked us in - John. Unfortunately, I do not have John's last name. He was so welcoming and gracious and provided us with many helpful details about the history of the hotel and surrounding restaurants. His level of service was impeccable! We will definitely be returning to the Sierra Sky Ranch, and have already referred it to several of our friends and family.

Hotel sieht von Außen schön aus und die allgemeinen Räume sehen toll aus.||Leider legt sich der Eindruck, wenn man im Hotelzimmer steht. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind sehr klein, so dass man mit 2 Koffern nicht mehr so einfach bewegen kann. Es gibt nur einen 1m Streifen Platz um das Bett herum. Kein Kühlschrank - wer sich Schnitten zum Wandern machen will, muss den Küchenkühlschrank nutzen und diese irgendwie auf der Kommode vorbereiten. ||Beim Frühstück hatten wir aufgrund der Darstellung Ranch etc. mehr erwartet - war dann aber wie in jedem Motel (allerdings ohne Rührei). Es gibt Toast, Butter, Marmelade, ... süßes Frühstück mit viel Zucker auf Plastikbechern und Plastiktellern||Das Wifi ist sehr langsam. ||Etwas teuer für die gebrachte Leistung. Wir steigen nächstes Mal im Motel ab - größere Zimmer und gleiches Frühstück.||||Es gibt kein Fenster nur eine Terrassentür. Klimaauslass ist direkt über eine Kopfseite vom Bett.

We are Choice members but have never stayed at an Ascend hotel. The accommodations were very nice, updated décor.

Rude front office staff. Treat minorities with respect.

Sierra Naveda Hotel is a must try in Oakhurst. Nearer to Yosemite entry gate as well. Loved it.

It was exactly what we expected (and hoped for) in a hotel near Yosemite!

Very nice staff, very comfy bed in a small but pretty room. There are no drawers to unpack your clothes but there is a large closet. The closet could definitely use a light, though. And because the room is so small, only one side of the bed has a nitestand. The other thing missing is a coffee maker. I drink tea, and travel with an electric kettle but for my husband, he had to get dressed and go to the dining area for coffee. The property is lovely and is in a great location fir visiting Yosemite. The restaurant and bar were closed when we were there.

Beautiful hotel, room, & atmosphere. Immaculately kept. Enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommend this location.

Looking for a hotel close to Yosemite, as a Choice member, I saw the Sierra Sky Ranch and looking at other reviews it was a must to try. The check in was super friendly and fast with a potted history of the hotel as an extra! The stay was great, next time we’re in the area we will definitely revisit.

I didn't know what to expect when I booked it... after getting into my room I was suprised at how modern it was with the nods to the ranch feel. Very cool place.

Parking gratuit devant l’ hôtel , accueil bien , chambre bien équipée , assez spacieuse , propre , literie confortable . Bâtiment chaleureux , typique , vraiment charmant tout en bois et pierres , avec des cheminées. Bonne connexion wifi . À 20 minutes de l’ entrée de Yosemite parc . Le calme absolu .

Impresionante. Se trata de un rancho de 1875. Trato muy amable, habitaciones preciosas y el baño genial. Todo muy limpio. Muy recomendable.

Its nice

Rooms are nice and clean, although smaller than most. Lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast is included, although there isn't a big selection (cereal, muffins, bread, fruit, and yogurt). Staff is very helpful and friendly. It's about 1.5 hours from Yosemite, through winding mountain roads. The only minor complaint is that the driveways are not paved, so it's very bumpy getting in and out.
