As outlined above - I truly appreciate how the interior and decor are appropriate for the ranch and it’s rich history.

This is a great rustic hotel, 30 minutes from Yosemite's south gate. Staffs were very friendly. The lady at check-in walked us to the available rooms which I found was a very unique and nice gesture. The rooms were clean, had most amenities. No fridge and microwave in the room, although available in the dining area/front desk. Internet speed not great. Enough parking space. The overall ambiance was great and peaceful.

Amazing been by here so many times and always wanted to stay well i finnally got to and it was amazing thank you to all the staff for making our trip amazing room are perfect very neat and clean and the place and history is awesome you have to experience it for yourself....

While rich in California and history of the West, the rooms are not well-insulated. We hardly slept at all, as folks staying in rooms above us walked/marched/moved/pounded the floors and kept us awake. But we couldn't blame them, as it's simply the construction and the insulation that's an issue. But if you have to stay here, request an upper-level room. Check-in took a while, as did paying the bill. The lawn is gorgeous, the pool clean and enjoyable. The restaurant remains closed, looks like a fun saloon. The location is great, surrounded by trees and wide open fields. Don't go for a walk on the road, the local traffic is swift and there's no shoulder! About a 15-minute or less drive to Tenaya Lodge for a nice meal and then another few minutes into the South Entrance to Yosemite NP.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. It's a charming little place with a rich history.

My trip to Yosemite would not have been the same if my friend and I hadn’t stayed at Sierra Sky Ranch. We loved Diana’s hospitality. The hotel is located on a great piece of land. We loved the view. It was neat to see the squirrels and wild turkeys surroundings too. The beds were extremely comfortable and the size of the room was perfect. We had an outside patio area to sit and relax. I was grateful for the pool though it needs a good renovation with painting inside with cushion seats, etc. I loved the feel of the Ranch style. The manager and the other front desk worker could use an improved work ethics as they didn’t care that the milk ran out for our coffee. Gosh, when you pay over $200 / night, you would expect the staff to ensure availability to what is offered. The outside of the Ranch could use a bit of a brighter paint job. The folding chairs were worn down and rusty in the gazebo. The shower needs to be worked on as the water runs from the rubber stopper. Overall I loved the experience as it was rural and down to earth. Diana made the experience wonderful. She is a star ⭐️

The Sierra Sky Resort was a great experience. The rooms were clean, the staff was great and the homemade healthy breakfasts were an excellent way to start the day.

The hotel captures the beauty of Yosemite. It is tranquil and a wonderful place to relax. I have recommended this to a few different friends.
