I have never written a hotel review before because I don’t have high standards and generally don’t care to write reviews, but right as I arrived here this week I knew I had to tell everyone how great it was. The location was perfect, right near Oakhurst downtown where we got dinner (we were staying here to see Yosemite). The staff was so pleasant and accommodating, the interior decor was gorgeous and cozy, many personal touches all around, nice and quiet, the bed was the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever stayed in, loved the in room access to the porch, the rooms were very updated and clean, great WiFi, and loved the tea station and game room. Wish I stayed here my whole trip and not just for one night! I’ll come back and stay here again when I return to Yosemite. This place is a gem, and the price is perfect!!

POSITIVES: Beautiful area and grounds; All rooms have doors to a large porch with chairs and a table Comfortable bed Large shower but I don’t like it being all glass Wonderful and plentiful and delicious hot breakfast which included sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, and a plethora of large fresh muffins. NEGATIVES: Room is WAY too small for a King bed. Absolutely Zero room to move and no where to set anything. Maybe the queen is better but I am doubtful. No fan in bathroom Sink is too tall for short people and difficult to use because of its height TV sucks NO mirror except a head (if you are the correct height) mirror next to the sink. NO closet, table or chairs, however you can go to the common area if you wish to sit and work on a table.

We had a wonderful stay at Sierra Sky Ranch and would highly recommend it to people travelling in and around the Yosemite Park.

precious hotel, peace is the perfect description of it. price not high, tasty breakfast and comfortable, pretty small rooms

No restaurant as was advertised. The "bunkhouse" rooms and rooms on the back of the main building with seating on the porch were exposed to the dust from the road every time a car drove by. This made it very hard to enjoy sitting outside.

Einen Abend auf der Veranda des Hotels am Rande des Nationalparks ist wunderschön. Der traditionelle Charme der Ranch ist allein ein Aufenthalt wert. Sehr freundliche Angestellte.

Poor insulation in room so much you feel like you were sharing a room with your neighbor. Not relaxing and couldn't wait to leave.

Just a great place to enjoy the lake, small city, mountain community and scenery. Effortless, romantic and easy to get to.

Sierra Sky ranch is fabulously situated close to the Yosemite entrance, to Oakhurst town, Sierra National Forest, and Bass Lake. The grounds and history are beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.
