Love this place our 3rd time coming. Service is great, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It truly feels like a home away from home. Close to the entrance to Yosemite.
Read MoreWe absolutely loved this place. Minutes from the entrance of Yosemite and very quiet and beautiful
Read MoreThe staff was super helpful and friendly. The lobby was decorated for Christmas which was great for the wife and 2 kids. The outside fireplace was a great place to unwind after visiting Yosemite. I am coming here again for my next december vacation.
Read MoreSuch an incredible hotel! The main ranch lobby was such a beautiful and relaxing place to hang out and play board games by the fire, the outdoor communal fire pit was a great place to hang out with other guests as well. Lovely complimentary breakfast and the rooms were a great mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. The grounds are stunning and just an hour from Yosemite. I will be staying every time I now visit the area! The staff were just lovely and went the extra mile explaining about the history and haunting legends!
Read MoreThis place was incredible! 100% recommend. Fabulous hotel with super friendly and attentive staff. Loved everything about the hotel. The building, the vibe, the decoration, the location, cleanliness, everything! We will definitely come back.
Read MoreThis is our second visit and it is just as nice as the first. Well-kept historic property. Completely renovated in ‘15. The rooms are small, and there isn’t a refrigerator or microwave. We don’t mind at all. The bed is very comfy, the tiled shower is nice and the linens are good quality. Room #32 has a desk, a chair and a large closet which other rooms may not have (they are all different). It’s right next to the lovely library/sitting room. We love sitting there, in the lobby in front of the fire and on the shared verandah outside our room. We keep the French doors open onto the verandah a lot during the day! We’ve also stayed in the “bunkhouse” and it’s lovely too. There’s a TV which we did not turn on once. If you need ice, you go to the lobby and ask. They even put the blu-ice for our ice chest in their freezer. We wish them well as they get the restaurant back open—it was wonderful during our last stay. The pool is open during the summer and we like to swim but we can’t imagine trying to enjoy the national park in the busy seasons when it’s wall-to-wall people and noise. The whole ranch/inn is homey, peaceful, blessedly unpretentious and sooo comfortable in a quiet area north of Oakhurst off the highway. It still feels like the ranch it once was. We are checking out tomorrow after a restful four days and look forward to our next visit. Thanks Diana and staff and what else can we say besides thank you, take care and see you all later!
Read MoreAwesome experience! Friendly and helpful staff, they answered all my questions, gave useful advice on the restaurants and places to visit. A unique building, located perfectly to enjoy the outdoors but only 5 minutes away from the shops in the city if you need anything. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. And you may see these little guys hang out in the front yard in the evening!
Read MoreHappened upon this spot on a hotel booking website and figured I would just call directly instead and eliminate the middleman. Diane took our reservation and was warm and friendly. It was nice that she remembered us when we checked in and got us all set and into the perfect room. The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations and we were pleasantly surprised all around. The property was super cute, warm, comfortable, and extremely clean. Felt to us like the perfect little home away from home. Popped in for the continental breakfast and it was yet again a surprisingly pleasant experience. We were greeted right away by Laura and offered anything that we needed. Gracious, kind, and caring. I spent many years working in hotels and fine dining and know enough to appreciate just how on point the staff is here. We will absolutely be back and cannot recommend it enough.
We slept in room 47 last night and it was the worst night of my life. The people above showed no respect by walking and talking all night. The room is not isolated at all; you can hear all the noises from the other rooms. The staff is nice and helpful that's why I give it one star. On the other hand this hotel is not made for a good night's sleep. Anyone looking for rest, move on.
